Overview

Remote, We’re looking for an experienced content creator, editor and social media specialist to manage all content delivery activities for the Marketplaces.

Headquartered here in Melbourne, we’re a completely online company with an ecosystem of sites and services to
help people get creative. We run a set of digital marketplaces that includes ThemeForest, the 105th largest sites in
the world (according to Alexa). On our marketplaces thousands of people earn a living selling things like WordPress
themes, photos, music tracks and illustrations. We also run an education platform called Tuts+ and a freelance
marketplace called Envato Studio.
The role
We’re looking for an experienced content creator, editor and social media specialist to manage all content delivery
activities for the Marketplaces. This will include developing content for the soon to be redesigned Marketplaces
blog as well as all Marketplaces social media accounts, soon to be condensed into a single account for Twitter,
Facebook and G+.
You will create and manage an editorial calendar while sourcing content from staff and freelance writers. You will
meet regularly with marketing stakeholders to ensure that content aligns with marketing strategies.
This is a full time contract position. Yes, we encourage remote candidates to apply!

What you’ll be doing
• Plan an editorial calendar for the Marketplaces blog, balancing strategic growth initiatives and revenue
opportunities, while balancing requests from marketing stakeholders
• Source content based on author relationships
• Source visually appealing imagery for blog posts
• Proofread all content to maintain a high level of editorial quality that matches editorial and brand guidelines
• Ensure a regular delivery of inspiring and helpful content for our community
• Ensure that all content meets brand guidelines and goals
• Ensure that all content marketing activity stays within budget
• Report monthly metrics around blog readership, engagement and referrals
• Actively promote content on our new Twitter, Facebook and G+ accounts

What you’ve got
• At least 4 years of content and/or content marketing experience
• At least 2 years of experience as a web designer or writing about web design
• Proven track record of growing a blog audience
• Proven track record of generating engagement and followers on social media
• Proven track record of recruiting and retaining authors
• Strong eye for detail when creating digital assets.
• Self starter
